Ahoy!

Cap'n Crunch has switched to using a "retro" design on their cereal boxes. Being the sucker that I am, I could not resist and below is the box I bought sitting on top of my fridge waiting to be opened. It would be insanely cool if they included classic prizes (I may have a soggie around here somewhere....)

I've never heard of Pocoyo before, but Super Punch linked to a create tour own avatar (which I'm a sucker for). It's nowhere near as impressive as the Simpsons avatar maker.

While at work the other day, someone checked this hat in. I was amazed that someone would actually make a hat like this. It was Bedazzling! When they picked up the hat, I asked how they made it and they said they bought it at an actual Warner Bros Studio Store! Look below for more pics.

Google has made my soul happy with their logo today. In honor of Elzie Segar's birthday, they've Popeye'd their logo! As a dyed in the wool Popeye fan, I am now a happy camper. Now go eat your spinach.

Hey gang. I'm a bit late in posting this stuff. At this years Baltimore Comic I got to meet Scott Adsit, of 30 Rock and Moral Orel. He was super cool and a huge League of Extraordinary Gentlemen fan. Below is a picture of me chatting with Scott Neely, who is also super awesome. He doodled up a great Shaggy in my sketch book while we discussed the greatness of Scott Innes and Adam West (he also did the Captain Caveman sketch above).

What the What!?: A Woody Allen Comic Strip

Hey gang, I was searching My Comic Shop to see what the new releases would be, and I came across a collection of comic strips based on Woody Allen, Dread and Superficiality. I am very interested in this. Was Woody actually involved? How did this come about? Anybody know?

Man, I've really neglected this blog! Anyway gang, I saw this clip on 1UP.com and couldn't resist sharing. I'm a huge fan of the Flash (the Wally West version mostly, thanks to Mark Waid). This game looks like it has so much potential! Throw in the ability to play as Jay Garrick or Bart Allen (in his Impulse suit) with Max Mercury making appearances for hints and tips, and you'd have a solid winner.
