Being the sucker that I am, I could not resist and below is the box I bought sitting on top of my fridge waiting to be opened. While at work the other day, someone checked this hat in. I was amazed that someone would actually make a hat like this. It was Bedazzling! When they picked up the hat, I asked how they made it and they said they bought it at an actual Warner Bros Studio Store! Look below for more pics.

Hey gang. I'm a bit late in posting this stuff. At this years Baltimore Comic I got to meet Scott Adsit, of 30 Rock and Moral Orel. He was super cool and a huge League of Extraordinary Gentlemen fan. Below is a picture of me chatting with Scott Neely, who is also super awesome. He doodled up a great Shaggy in my sketch book while we discussed the greatness of Scott Innes and Adam West (he also did the Captain Caveman sketch above).

Man, I've really neglected this blog! Anyway gang, I saw this clip on 1UP.com and couldn't resist sharing. I'm a huge fan of the Flash (the Wally West version mostly, thanks to Mark Waid). This game looks like it has so much potential! Throw in the ability to play as Jay Garrick or Bart Allen (in his Impulse suit) with Max Mercury making appearances for hints and tips, and you'd have a solid winner.

I saw this at CVS today and it automatically caught my eye. I really like the style the Scarecrow is drawn in, and it's the first stylized drawing of MGM's Wizard of Oz merchandising I've seen (there may be others, but again the first I've ever seen).

Hey gang. I've been thinking about starting a segment dedicated drawings and story ideas that have been piling up in the ol' noodle. Warner Bros. had Termite Terrace, now I proudly present Silver Slum! The drawing below is one of the many Bigfoot related doodles I have. Bigfoot is a central character in my opus "The Adventures of Dad and Me". I quickly sketched this while waiting for something (can't quite remember) and was interrupted and never got back to it, and never intend to finish it. But I am really proud of the bumper on the van, so it works for me.

Small Press Expo 2007, Part One

Hey gang! I attended the small press expo over the weekend and it was a blast. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures, but over the next few days, I plan on posting some of the great stuff I found. One of my favorite finds was a mini-comic called Blar by Drew Weing . It's like Hagar the Horrible meets Popeye and it was a great read.

Hey gang, something new I'm going to try. Let's see what happens!

Tales of the TMNT #38 - A bright spot an otherwise lame series. I started buying this book on pure nostalgia and the high I got off of the recent TMNT flick. The main story focuses on the preteen turtles getting into mischief and discovering Leatherhead for the first time. The art is pretty tight, although all the turtles look the same and the dialogue balloons are all over the place. Sadly, this'll be the last book I buy in this series.

Countdown #29 - This is finally picking up! The Piper/Trickster storyline is what sells this book. Jimmy Olson's meeting the Newsboy Legion was a nice touch as well (still not sure where this is going). Mary Marvel....meh.

Captain Carrot and the Final Ark #1 - I've been waiting for this one for a while. Bill Morrison's writing is great, and if you like puns (and I do) there's a boat load. Scott Shaws! art is still tite (I spell it that way when something is so"tight" it can't squeeze in any other letters).

Gargoyles #6 - Ugh, what a waste! This book was horrible, mainly because of the huge printing error. Two pages are printed in error and the dialogue balloons are all over the place. For a book that takes it's sweet time to come out, you'd think they'd be able to avoid problems like this.

Booster Gold# 3 - Great book as well. Geof Johns and Jeff Katz are just killing on this title and Dan Jurgens art is phenomenal.

Damn, not a lot of info, but it is my first dealy. Maybe I'll get better.

Hey, gang! I know, I know...how can one just start a blog and not post anything? Good question. Anyway, I was able to see a sneak preview of Ratatouille a few weeks ago (big deal since it's out already and the #1 movie) and it was phenomenal. Not that I expect anything less than awesomeness from Pixar, but this threw my expectations out the window and told me firmly, "You won't be needing those." Seriously go see it! Plus there's an awesome short beforehand that had the audience rolling. TTFN!
